The people of Green Lake did not approve of Kate's and Sam's relationship.  In fact Sam got killed over thier relationship.  Back in the days of the Wild West interractial relationships were frowned upon; do you think that opinion still holds true today?  Why or why not?

  Stanley is given his name so that his first name spells his last name backward.  This was a creative move on his parents and grandparents and so on.  I was given my name because my initials spell out my first name.  Think about why you received your name and share the story of how you got your name.  Then answer:  Should parents be so creative when they are naming their children?  Why or why not?
